Graduate Education and Training
I received a Psy.D. (Doctor of Clinical Psychology) from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I completed my doctoral internship at Napa State Hospital and my postdoctoral fellowship at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs/UCSF Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Abuse Program.
I have experience working with a rich and diverse range of ethnic and socioeconomic groups, religions, and sexual orientations. Past clinical experiences include college counseling, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric treatment, crisis work, and VA treatment. Since 2012, I have been an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry where I provide teaching and supervision on a voluntary basis.
